FISHERMENS REST BED and BREAKFAST

Brand new in 2008 we have opened a B&B above the shop, what a fisherman's paradise! Refurbished to a high standard our comfortable accommodation is just what you need at the end of a long days fishing. Each bedroom has as standard TV, coffee and tea making facilities, mini fridge, hairdryer (honest!) and iron. In the lounge we have SKY TV for you.

Fieona does a hearty English Breakfast which is also served in the lounge and if required she does a mean packed lunch! A courtesy car is available too but we do express that this courtesy is extended both ways as it has been abused at times. This will of course lead to its withdrawal, its there for you to use so look after it. Deposits are taken but if your boat trip fails to materialise due to inclement weather we will refund. Again this another of our policies open to abuse for some so for this to apply we are talking of force six winds or above which make traveling across the Channel by boat impossible.

Rod hire discount of 50% available to residents of the Fishermen's Rest. Wet room for clothing/fishing gear. Fridge/freezer space available for fish or bait. We do have two very friendly and playful Border Terriers so if you suffer allergies to dogs then you may have to give us a miss.

Our charges for 2009 are as follows:

January to March £30.00 pppn

April to September £37.00 pppn

October to December £33.00 pppn

Jim O'Donnell visited us recently and this was his opinion of what he found when he stayed with us http://www.worldseafishing.com/blogsdiaries/jimodonnell/alderney_angling_grandslam.html
